Occupational Therapist ~ Special Education SIGNING BONUS
This position requires an Occupational Therapist to provide diagnostic and therapeutic occupational therapy services to students in a special education setting. The successful candidate will serve as a consultant to teachers and other staff, collaborating with the multi-disciplinary team to develop and implement occupational therapy strategies that support educational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide diagnostic and therapeutic occupational therapy services to students
- Serve as a consultant to teachers regarding the development and implementation of occupational therapy strategies
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary team members and with parents
- Attend IEP meetings, CSTs, and other meetings
- Develop and implement individualized therapeutic programs for each student
- Provide individual/group/classroom occupational therapy services
Requirements:
- Valid DC, Maryland, and Virginia State License issued by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT)
