Phillips Sign & Lighting is seeking a highly skilled Sign Artist to join our team. The successful candidate will have experience with Adobe CC Suite and or Signlab software. Knowledge of scaled drawings, ADA requirements, and modern sign design theory is required.
Responsibilities:
Designing and creating custom signs for commercial and industrial clients
Using Adobe / Signlab software to create digital designs and layouts
Understanding and following clients' design requirements
Creating scaled drawings and detailed specifications for sign fabrication
Ensuring compliance with local and national sign codes and regulations, including ADA requirements
Communicating with clients, project managers, and other team members to ensure projects are completed on schedule and within budget
Continuously developing and expanding knowledge of new sign design trends and technologies.
Qualifications:
Experience with Adobe software
Experience with Signlab software is a bonus
Knowledge of scaled drawings, ADA requirements, and modern sign design theory
Strong attention to detail and ability to create visually appealing designs
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
