We are seeking an experienced Project Superintendent to oversee and manage construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and in accordance with safety regulations and quality standards. This role requires strong leadership skills, effective communication and a thorough understanding of construction management processes.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Supervise daily operations on the construction site, ensuring compliance with project plans and specifications.
- Coordinate and manage subcontractors, suppliers, and labor to ensure project milestones are met.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring timely completion of tasks.
- Monitor project budgets, controlling cost while maintaining quality standards.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure adherence to safety regulations (OSHA) and quality control measures.
- Prepare and review schematics, plans, and other documentation related to the project.
- Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during the construction process promptly.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Experience in construction management or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of project scheduling techniques and budgeting practices.
- Understanding of OSHA regulation and safety practices on construction sites.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and blueprints effectively.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential for success in this role.
- Must have valid driver's license.
WORK REQUIREMENTS:
- Pass pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
- Be able to provide valid documentation for I9 documents (DL, Social Security, Birth Certificate)
- Report to work at designated work time.
- Willing to work outdoors in extreme temperatures, both hot and cold.
- Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) in designated operations and production areas as stated by OSHA.
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
This is a salary position paying the following range $70,000 to $75,000 per year. These rates are dependent upon skill set, licensing and experience.
