What are the responsibilities and job description for the CNC Panel Saw Operator/Material Handler 2nd Shift position at Phillips Staffing?

Phillips Staffing is seeking a 2nd shift CNC Panel Saw Operator / Material Handler to join the team at company in Fountain Inn that specializes in retail interior décor including the design, manufacturing, and installation!

Responsibilities :

Operate material handling equipment (i.e., forklift, pallet jacks, hand truck) to move materials from the Warehouse to Production
Load and unload equipment and materials (mainly wood materials)
Log and record readings for equipment and procedures
Troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely fashion
Provide innovative solutions to improve efficiency
Conduct routine preventive maintenance on the plant

Requirements :

Previous forklift experience required

Previous experience in plant operations or other related fields

Familiarity with Panel Saws and CNC Machines

Experience working with sheet goods (plywood, mdf, particle board, pvc, and acrylic)

Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills

Ability to keep a clean work station

Ability to handle physical workload

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

Must be able to read a tape measure

Shift Schedule : 2nd Shift, Monday – Thursday, 4 : 00 pm - 2 : 30 am, occasional overtime on Fridays

Pay Rate : 17-20$ / Hour

Salary : $17 - $20
