Quality Inspector 1st Shift

Phillips Staffing is looking for Inspectors for an innovative manufacturer of industrial / agricultural products in Anderson, SC! The Quality Inspector is primarily responsible for reviewing the products to make sure they comply with the customers’ requirements.

Responsibilities :

  • Maintains specifications by observing operations, detecting malfunctions, inspecting parts, and adjusting controls.
  • Approves finished products by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; returning products for re-work; confirming re-work.
  • Ensure accuracy in maintaining production records such as quantities and types produced. Must be able to check parts to Quality Control Documents.
  • Participate in all required training programs to maintain skill levels for continuous improvement

Other Duties :

  • Maintain a clean / safe work environment while complying with safety and quality standards
  • Behave in a positive manner that enhances productivity and success of the company

    • Requirements :

  • High School diploma / GED or equivalent
  • Must be capable of reading blue prints and their application to the production part.
  • Must have knowledge of production processes and be able to read work process instructions
  • Must be able to use a tape measure, digital calipers, and a square to ensure the accuracy of work
  • Equipment Selection – Determine the kind of tools and equipment needed to do the required job
  • Quality Control Analysis – Conducting tests and inspections of products, services, or processes to evaluate quality or performance.

    Pay Rate : $16 / Hour
