Welder 1st Shift

Phillips Staffing is looking for skilled welders for an innovative manufacturer of industrial / agricultural products in Anderson, SC!

Responsibilities :

  • Experience with MIG welding equipment
  • Proficiency with hand tools such as an angle grinder
  • Align components using calipers, rulers etc. for clamping raw material together
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings

Other Duties :

  • Maintain a clean / safe work environment while complying with safety and quality standards
  • Ability to lift more than 50lbs and assist team members with lifts
  • Behave in a positive manner that enhances productivity and success of the company
  • Miscellaneous duties as assigned by the manager / supervisor

    • Requirements :

  • High School diploma / GED or equivalent
  • Must be able to pass a weld test (AWS 1.1 and 1.3)
  • Must have welding hood and gloves
  • Read and write English
  • Basic math skills such as addition, subtraction, reading rulers and calipers
  • Be able to stand for extended periods of time
  • Follow dress code including PPE guidelines as specified for the position

    • Shift Schedule :   1st Shift, 6 : 00 am - 4 : 30 pm, Monday - Thursday, Occasional Overtime on Fridays

    Pay Rate : $20 / Hour

    Salary : $20
