Job Summary
The Tool house/Warehouse Assistant/Mechanic will be a core component to the day-to-day operations of the Kentucky Warehouse / Tool house. They will assist with the organization, inspection, inventory, and maintain company tooling equipment. Process shipments both incoming and outgoing. Ensuring the day-to-day functions of the Warehouse /Tool house run smoothly.

Job Duties And Responsibilities
Job duties include but are not limited to:
- General cleaning and maintenance of the tool house and office
- Keeping an accurate inventory of all materials and tooling coming in and out of the warehouse
- Cleaning, organizing, and performing inventory on tool trailers and other equipment coming into the shop
- Perform routine maintenanceon company trailers, trucks, and other portable equipment
- Have a basic understanding of several differenttypes of electric and air powered tools and to be able to test and confirm they are working correctly before sending them back out in the field
- A basic understanding of welding and be willing to continue gaining knowledgeof welding to be able to perform welding in the shop as needed
- Be willing to make job site visits delivering and picking up material as needed
- Be willing to go out into the field and help field crews in times of need. Thiswould include being willing to go through company provided confined space rescue training and would also include some overnight stays away from home. (Company will pay Per diemwhen overnight stays are required.)
- Have great communication and organization skills
- The ability to solve problems and suggest improvements to our systems
- Have excellent attendance and show up to work on time every day
- The willingness to learn. One of PTS’s greatest strengths is our ability to share information and skills
- Be at least 18 years old
- Be able to lift 50 lbs
- Have a high school diploma or equivalent
- Be eligible to work in the United States
- Be willing to authorize background checks
- Have no criminal convictions for dishonesty, sexual misconduct, violence, or acts of terrorism
- Have a valid driver’s license
- Be willing to authorize motor vehicle driving record checks
- Be willing to submit to pre-hire, random, and post-incident drug and alcohol testing
