The Protective Services Specialist position reports to the Director, Executive Protection and Compliance , and offers varied risk / threat assessment and protective services work. As a member of a dynamic team delivering quality security services, this role assists with security strategy and implementation protecting Phillip 66 personnel, assets, and reputation, globally.
Responsibilities May Include :
- Assisting or leading, as requested by management, with protective details. This may include advances, surveys, vetting, countersurveillance and database management.
- Working with internal and external security intelligence resources to identify targeted threats and conduct assessments, as appropriate.
- Coordinating and working with external security details, as necessary.
- Establishing appropriate response procedures, continuously evaluating their effectiveness and applicability.
- Conducting follow-up inquiries on site-specific incident reports and initiating the appropriate level of response, to include a thorough investigation, when deemed necessary.
- Developing and maintaining professional relationships with local law enforcement and other emergency response personnel.
- Responding to security-related situations on a 24 hour-a-day basis.
- Facilitating, leading and / or assisting with contracted canine contraband searches.
- Performing special projects and operations at the request of management.
