What are the responsibilities and job description for the Photo Booth Operator position at Philly Photo & Philm?
Philly Photo & Philm is looking for outgoing personalities to deliver, setup, and operate a photo booth at various locations in the NJ, PA, and DE area for events such as, weddings, birthdays, anniversaries, graduations, and corporate events, to name a few. Events typically last 3 to 4 hours and 2 hours allocated for set up and breakdown. A day could be 6 to 8 hours long when including travel.
During the activation, the attendant shall positively engage and assist guests with the use and operation of the photo booth, replace ink & paper as necessary, maintain a clean area, equipment, create stunning setups, etc.
Your basic duties will include:
- Delivery of photo booth equipment to job location located in the NJ, PA, DE area.
- Travel anywhere from 20 minutes to 2 hours from company studio located in Blackwood, NJ 08012.
- Setup and operate the booth for the duration of the job. This includes lifting equipment, connecting cables, preparing props or a scrapbook, and running several tests on the functionality of the booth.
- Interacting with the guests, encouraging the use of the booth, and making it as fun as possible for everyone at the event!
- Ensure the booth is operating correctly, any paper or ink changes are done immediately, and providing reprints for guests.
- Properly break down equipment and return all equipment at the conclusion of the event.
Requirements:
- MUST be available Nights & Weekends (Friday, Saturday, & Sunday)
- Possess a valid driver’s license
- Possess reliable transportation & ability to transport portable photo booth equipment
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
- Work unsupervised
- Maintain perfect attendance and timeliness. Because of the nature of our business, perfect attendance is a must! We do not tolerate late/no shows
- Be courteous, friendly, and professional at all times. Always represent the brand well
- Able to interact well with all groups of people
- Understand back-end operation of the photo booth

Compensation:
- Training Provided
- Following training, contractor will earn hourly rate as described
- Up to $30/hr based on skill, work ethic, reliability, etc.
