At Philly’s Best Steak, the ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) Accountant will use ERP software to manage financial data, streamline processes, and ensure accuracy in financial reporting for the plant’s production facility. This role involves analyzing ERP-related functions and potentially supporting end-user training. The ERP Accountant is responsible for driving the analytics and traceability for the production process at Philly’s Best Steak and will require collaboration with Supply Chain, FSQA, Production, Maintenance, and Shipping & Receiving departments.
Reports to: Director of Operations
Status: Full-Time / Exempt
Salary Range: $80,000 – $90,000 per year
Schedule: Monday – Friday 7:30 am – 4:30 pm
Occasionally, additional hours may be required to complete tasks and/or projects
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
· Records and manages financial information within the ERP system, ensuring accuracy and efficiency
· Prepares dashboards for decision-makers, leveraging the ERP's analytical capabilities
· Identifies opportunities to optimize ERP-related processes and workflows and works with the Business Applications Specialist to implement efficiencies
· Works with other departments, including IT and finance, to ensure ERP solutions align with organizational needs
· Contributes to the implementation and maintenance of the ERP system, including upgrades and enhancements
· Assists with training end-users on how to use the ERP system
· Identifies and resolves issues related to the ERP system, ensuring its effective performance
· Analyzes ERP data to gain insights and inform decision-making
· Participates in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes by leveraging ERP data
· Assists with internal and external audits, ensuring compliance
· Contributes to the development and implementation of robust financial controls
· Drives our company culture of respectful communication, transparency, and collaboration across all operations
· All other duties as assigned
Skills and Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree from 4-year college/university in accounting, business, or related field preferred
· 2-3 years’ experience in a manufacturing role required
· Strong understanding of accounting principles
· Familiarity with ERP systems and their operational and financial modules
· Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make informed decisions
· Ability to troubleshoot issues and find solutions
· Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences
· Familiarity with database concepts and software systems
· Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills required
· Must be able to assist with writing reports, policies, SOP’s, processes, training programs, and manuals
· Demonstrated project management skills
· Ability to work in a variety of situations depending on need, including sitting, standing, walking, and climbing stairs
