- Ensure that all Hanwha Philly Shipyard safety procedures, rules and regulations are followed and met
- Develop and implement SOP’s and other procedures to assure the following are successfully achieved:
- HSE relate to ship construction
- Materials and material management
- Ship specifications and contract requirements
- USCG requirements, rules and test procedures
- Actively engage in the management of the overall project life-cycle and provides timely reporting and contract related documents
- Track project from prefabrication phase thru delivery
- Work closely with Turnkey subcontractors, Material Control Coordinator and Hanwha Philly Shipyard production supervisors
- Coordinate activities between the subcontractors and Hanwha Philly Shipyard supervisor while maintaining the planning schedule
- Responsible for time schedule and quality of turnkey deliveries
- Basic knowledge of classifications USCG, ABS, USPH
- Perform other related duties as required and assigned

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelors of Science (emphasis Engineering) preferred
- Recent US Maritime graduates are preferred
- At least 5 years’ experience in shipbuilding industry
- Planning experience in manufacturing industry
- Knowledge/experience of Project based engineering process
- Knowledge/experience of modern shipbuilding process and terminology
- Ability to read engineering drawings and specifications
- Knowledge and experience in production work methods, capability to make productivity/efficiency comparisons
- General office administrative experience, along with fluency in MS Office Suite
- A knowledge of handling Accommodation turnkey process is plus

POSITION TYPE/EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK
This is an on-site, full-time, safety-sensitive position. Standard days and hours of work vary by department. Days and hours are determined by department schedule.
