We are newly founded landscape supply company looking to re-establish the supply market in the heart of Delaware County.
Duties
As the General Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the overall operations and performance of the company. Your duties will include:
- Managing and supervising staff, including hiring, training, and evaluating employee performance
- Developing and implementing strategies to achieve company goals and objectives
- Monitoring market trends and competition to identify opportunities for growth
- Creating and managing budgets to ensure financial stability
- Ensuring excellent customer service by maintaining high standards of quality
- Implementing policies and procedures to improve efficiency and productivity
- Collaborating with other departments to streamline operations and maximize profitability
- Conducting regular meetings with staff to communicate goals, provide feedback, and address any concerns
Inventory Responsibilities:
- Oversees team of inventory or warehouse employees.
- Manages inventory tracking system to record deliveries, shipments and stock levels.
- Evaluates deliveries, shipments and product levels to improve inventory control procedures.
- Analyzes daily product and supply levels to anticipate inventory problems and shortages.
- Develops business relationships with suppliers and clients.
- Proposes strategies to reduce costs and improve procedures of supply chain logistics.
- Monitors demand and analyzes data to anticipate future supply and logistical needs.
- Reports on inventory levels, supply chain progress, procedural efficiency and personnel issues to upper management.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should have the following qualifications:
- Proven experience as a General Manager or similar leadership position
- Must have general Landscaping material and use knowledge
- Bilingual or multilingual skills are preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Proficient in budgeting and financial management
- Knowledge of wireless sales industry is a plus
- Ability to interview, hire, train, and manage a diverse team
- Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on customer satisfaction
- Demonstrated ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
