Position Summary
A business intelligence (BI) analyst is responsible for extracting, analyzing, and presenting data for specific reports or projects. To create metrics and models that help stakeholders to answer important questions and make data driven decisions.
The goal is to work closely with the business, to understand the drivers of performance, and produce metrics and visual reports with Power BI.
The salary range for this role is $80-120k
MUST be able to work 3 days at NYC office and 2 days remote
Duties and Responsibilities
- Collecting and analyzing data from various sources like Exel, Yardi Systems and SQL Database to identify trends, patterns, and correlations that will support business growth
- Creating and maintaining data models, databases, and central dashboards to support data-driven decision-making
- Collaborating with stakeholders and data scientists to establish business goals, metrics, and requirements and then translate these specifics into business analysis solutions
- Conducting data quality checks while ensuring data integrity and accuracy across all spectrums before implementing findings
- Developing reports, Power BI visualizations, and presentations to communicate strategic findings and presenting these insights as recommendations to key stakeholders to aid business decisions
- Identifying opportunities for process improvements and optimization based on data insights
- Having the written and verbal communication skills to synthesize research and recommendations is key to the role.

Qualifications :
The candidate must have a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent; a bachelor's degree is preferred, with 3 to 5 years of relevant experience.
