Join our esteemed team at PTS, a well-established Utah-based organization with a proud 30-year history, as we embark on a search for a dedicated Phlebotomy Instructor at our prestigious Tulsa location.
Position: Phlebotomy Instructor
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive instruction in the art of phlebotomy for aspiring phlebotomists.
- Cultivate a positive, encouraging, and safe learning environment for students during lecture and all clinical drawing portions.
- Encourage and support students throughout the program to ensure successful completion.
- Deliver our insightful curriculum in a clear and easily comprehensible manner.
- Manage onsite inventory and classroom cleanliness.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, including classroom documentation (If applicable).
- Productive attendance and timeliness to all scheduled classes.
- Required reliable transportation and an address to receive inventory boxes.
- Required Technology knowledge with IPads, mirror casting, troubleshooting, etc.
- Preferred - EKG knowledge and work experience
Onsite Campus Director additional responsibilities include:
- Work directly with the Licensing Director at PTS for all quarterly or annual state audits, licensing paperwork, and/or attending possible site visits at the location. **All of these tasks will need to be completed under the direction and supervision of the Licensing Director.**
- Depending on your location additional state regulatory director training may be required.
State Requirements:
- Current Certified Phlebotomy Technician in the state of Oklahoma, with a minimum of 2 years of full-time phlebotomy experience in the last 5 years (including venipuncture, blood collection, lab processing, and special specimen procurement); a copy of the phlebotomy certificate will be required upon request
- Hold at least a high school diploma or GED, and have completed a program of instruction at a recognized school directly related to the field of teaching; a copy of the diploma or transcript will be required upon request.
- Be a graduate of a recognized college or university and hold a baccalaureate degree with a minimum of 12 credit hours in a field directly related to the subject(s) he/she is teaching; a copy of the diploma or transcript will be required upon request.
- Have two years minimum full time work experience within the last seven years in the field in which he/she is teaching(Medical work experience that includes ECG)

Weekend Shift: Saturdays, 8:00am-4:30pm
