Position: Phlebotomy Instructor
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive instruction in the art of phlebotomy for aspiring phlebotomists.
- Cultivate a positive, encouraging, and safe learning environment for students during lecture and all clinical drawing portions.
- Encourage and support students throughout the program to ensure successful completion.
- Deliver our insightful curriculum in a clear and easily comprehensible manner.
- Manage onsite inventory and classroom cleanliness.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, including classroom documentation (If applicable).
- Productive attendance and timeliness to all scheduled classes.
- Required reliable transportation and an address to receive inventory boxes.
- Required Technology knowledge with IPads, mirror casting, troubleshooting, etc.
- Preferred - EKG knowledge and work experience
State Requirements:
- CURRENT Licensed Lab Assistant or Office Lab Assistant in the state of Nevada with a minimum of 2 years full time phlebotomy experience in the previous 5 years (venipuncture, blood collection, lab processing, and special specimen procurement), must provide a copy of license upon request
- Must be able to provide letters from previous employers indicating and describing the work or teaching responsibilities in detail and provide contact information to verify employment
- Hold no less than a high school diploma or GED OR have completed a program of instruction at a recognized school in a field directly related to the program teaching, must provide a copy of diploma or transcript upon request
- Instructors will be fingerprinted by the Nevada Commission per state regulations

Schedule:
Weekends: Saturdays, 8:00AM - 4:30PM
