PhlebX seeks an experienced, part-time Phlebotomist who has a passion for caring for people and has a minimum of three years’ experience. Nursing Home experience a plus.
As a PhlebX Phlebotomist, you will be assigned to Nursing homes in Putnam County and will be responsible for the procurement of blood and other laboratory specimens from patients.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide patients with the highest level of care.
- Uphold the highest level of ethical behavior.
- Follow policies, procedures, and requirements stipulated by PhlebX and our partners.
- Procure blood and other laboratory specimens from patients utilizing standard venipuncture (and other appropriate) procedures.
- Process specimens (centrifuge, pipette, and freeze when required).
- Transport specimens to local lab or drop off locations for processing
REQUIREMENTS:
- Valid NCPT Phlebotomy certificate by NCCT, NHA or a current certification by an accepted certifying agency for phlebotomy or Medical Assistant
- Reliable, efficient automobile (THIS IS A MOBILE PHLEBOTOMY POSITION) with valid driver license and proof of current liability insurance
