Responsibilities of Servers
Greet guests as they enter the restaurant- Familiarize guests with the menu and make appropriate suggestions when requested
- Take orders and enter into system for dine-in and take-out guests
- Preparing and packing orders on the food line, bussing tables, running food
- Maintaining a clean workspace by cleaning before, during and after shifts
- Assisting in the training of new servers
- Clean restrooms, restock products, and empty trash containers
- Perform any additional tasks as assigned by shift lead or manager
Qualifications for Server
- Excellent customer service skills and the ability to exceed customer expectations
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Good attitude toward teamwork
- Strong work ethic, with a willingness to take initiative
- Confident, outgoing demeanor
- Flexibility to work a variable schedule, including evenings and weekends
- Ability to be mobile for a minimum of 4 hours, bend, stoop and life a moderate weight
- Food service certificate
