Who is right for the job?
Phoebe is seeking experienced candidates to join our pharmacy team as a Courier/ Driver at our Willow St. Pharmacy. A vehicle and all necessary tools (GPS, phone, EZ Pass, etc.) are provided.
Pool employees are required to be available 2 weekend shifts in a 30-day period. This can include 1 Saturday shift & 1 Sunday shift, 2 Saturday shifts, or 2 Sunday shifts.

**Benefit days are available for employees with a regular status of greater than 32 hours per pay period.
Skills crucial to success in this role:
- Delivery of medications and supplies to both Phoebe and contracted clients in a timely manner providing excellent customer service and serving as a representative of the Phoebe organization.
- Drive company vehicles.
- Deliver medications and supplies to and from specified destinations such as facilities or patient’s residences.
- Load and unload trucks, vans, or automobiles.
- Obey traffic laws and follow established traffic and transportation procedures.
- Report any mechanical problems encountered with vehicles.
- Read maps or GPS and follow written or verbal geographic directions.
- Inspect and maintain vehicle supplies and equipment, such as gas, oil, water, tires, lights, or brakes, to ensure that vehicles are in proper working condition.
- Maintain records, such as vehicle logs, delivery slips, or billing statements, in accordance with pharmacy policies.
- Return receipts and money received from deliveries to Executive Director of Pharmacy.
- Report delays, accidents, or other traffic and transportation situations to bases or other vehicles, using company provided cell phone.
- Perform emergency repairs, such as changing tires or installing light bulbs.
- Handling and moving heavy objects, such as totes, medication carts, etc.
- Coordinates specific work tasks with other personnel within the department as well as with other units and departments in order to ensure the smooth and efficient flow of information.

Must Have's:
- Possess a valid Pennsylvania State License
- Clean driving record a must
- Responsible to provide courier service in all weather
- A minimum of six months experience in a driver position preferred.
