Responsibilities for a Medicare Analyst with Phoebe Allentown:
The Medicare Analyst will be responsible for aspects related to the preparation, billing, payment posting and follow up on Medicare A & B claims and Medicare A & B Secondary Payers. The Medicare Analyst will closely monitor the Medicare Receivable each month and ensure that any overpayments are properly identified in conjunction with CMS regulations. Medicare Audits and RAC Recovery efforts will also be documented and managed accordingly.
Requirements for a Medicare Analyst with Phoebe Allentown:
- The ability to deliver excellent customer service to all residents, families, and coworkers.
- College degree in business, healthcare management or related field preferred.
- Minimum three (3) years’ experience in Skilled Nursing Accounts Receivable required. Experience in medical claims billing/coding, Experience with insurance follow up processes/procedures.
