Job Description
As a Respiratory Therapist on our weekend night shift, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our interdisciplinary team to provide high-quality care to patients.
Responsibilities
- Providing respiratory care to patients, adhering to hospital policies and staying current with industry developments.
- Maintaining certification requirements, including ACLS, PALS, and BLS, as well as obtaining an Associate Degree in Respiratory Therapy.
- Collaborating effectively with colleagues to ensure seamless care delivery and maintaining accurate records of patient treatment plans.
Requirements
- An Associate Degree in Respiratory Therapy is mandatory for this position.
- A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in respiratory therapy is required, with proficiency in both clinical and non-clinical areas.
- Certifications such as ACLS, PALS, and BLS are essential for this role.
Physical Demands
- This role requires frequent standing (34-66%) and walking (34-66%), with occasional sitting (1-33%), climbing (1-33%), bending/stooping (1-33%), twisting at waist (1-33%), pushing/pulling (1-33%), and reaching above shoulder (1-33%).
