Job Summary
We are looking for a highly skilled professional to manage the Sterile Processing Department at Phoebe Putney Health System. This role involves providing leadership and direction to team members, ensuring high-quality work, and utilizing technology to improve operations.
- Plan, organize, staff, and monitor work quality in the Sterile Processing Department.
- Develop and implement organization-wide instrument sterilization policies, procedures, and processes.
- Effectively utilize available and developing technology to improve operations and reduce costs.
The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in nursing or a relevant healthcare field, as well as minimum 3 years of management experience within sterile processing, preferably in a hospital setting. Certification as CRCST or above through IAHCSMM or certification as CSPDT or above through CBSPD is also required.
