Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technician Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technician to join our team at Phoebe Putney Health System. As an MRI technologist, you will play a critical role in ensuring patient safety and comfort during magnetic resonance imaging procedures.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform magnetic resonance imaging procedures to assist in diagnostic examinations
- Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the examination process
- Manage and maintain equipment to ensure optimal performance
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care
Requirements:
- Vocational or technical degree in Radiology Technology
- 1-2 years of experience in MRI (preferred)
- Radiology Technologist (RT) certification
- Certified Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MR)(ARRT) certification
- BLS certification
Work Environment:
- Able to stand, walk, sit, bend, twist, and push/pull occasionally within a shift
