Job Summary
The Radiology Technologist will work with our team to provide high-quality imaging services to patients. This individual will be responsible for operating MRI equipment, preparing patients for exams, and maintaining a safe and clean environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate MRI equipment to capture high-quality images of patients' internal structures.
- Prepare patients for exams by explaining procedures, positioning them correctly, and ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to infection control protocols and radiation safety standards.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
Requirements:
- Vocational or technical degree in Radiology Technology (required)
- 1-2 years of experience in MRI preferred, with certifications such as RT, MR(ARRT), and BLS
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Manual dexterity and ability to stand, walk, sit, bend, and twist throughout the shift
Preferred Qualifications:
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification
- Basic computer skills and general clerical abilities
Work Environment:
This position requires frequent sitting and occasional standing, walking, bending, twisting, and pushing/pulling. The successful candidate must be able to work in a dynamic environment with changing priorities and deadlines.
