Job Description:
As a registered nurse in the progressive care unit, you will be responsible for providing patient care that is focused on the specific needs of individuals based on various factors such as age and health status. You must adhere to hospital guidelines and maintain current knowledge through ongoing education. Additionally, you must demonstrate strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities:
- Adhere to hospital attendance and punctuality guidelines
- Perform all job responsibilities in alignment with core values, mission, and vision of the organization
- Maintain current knowledge in present areas of responsibility through self-education and ongoing educational programs
- Attend staff meetings and complete mandatory in-services and requirements
Requirements:
- Associate degree in nursing from a state-accredited school (required)
- Bachelor's degree in nursing from a state-accredited school (preferred)
- 1-2 years of nursing experience (preferred)
Certifications/Licensures:
- Current Georgia license as a registered nurse
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification prior to completing unit orientation
