Job Title: RN Manager - Phoebe Care Command Center
Summary: We are seeking an experienced RN Manager to lead the overall operations of our Phoebe Care Command Center. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing staffing, budgeting, planning, and regulatory compliance.
Description:
The RN Manager will directly supervise a team of RN Access Care Managers, Patient Logistics Team Leaders, and other positions within Care Command. Key responsibilities include recommending priorities, providing management for functions of utilization review, care coordination, access center, and bed management. The RN Manager will also work collaboratively with the Director, VP of Patient Logistics and Care Coordination, and the Chief Care Coordination Officer to build relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage overall Phoebe Care Command Center operations, including staffing, budgeting, planning, and regulatory compliance.
- Directly supervise RN Access Care Managers, Patient Logistics Team Leaders, and other positions within Care Command.
- Recommend priorities and provide management for functions of utilization review, care coordination, access center, and bed management.
- Collaborate with the Director, VP of Patient Logistics and Care Coordination, and the Chief Care Coordination Officer to build relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements:
- 4-year / Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (in lieu of a bachelor's degree, an Associate's Degree in Nursing and 4 years of related experience).
- Master's degree preferred.
- 2 years of healthcare logistics experience required.
- Registered Nurse (RN) with current Georgia license.
Physical Requirements:
- Near normal vision, clarity of vision (both near and far), ability to distinguish colors.
- Good manual dexterity and eye-hand-foot coordination.
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks/motion.
Work Environment:
- General environment: works in a well-lighted, air-conditioned area with moderate noise levels.
- May be exposed to high noise levels and bright lights.
- May be scheduled as needed including overtime.
