Job Description

The Respiratory Therapist will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, adhering to hospital policies and procedures, and maintaining up-to-date knowledge in the field. This includes demonstrating competency in patient care, attending training, and complying with safety standards. The ideal candidate will possess an Associate Degree in Respiratory Therapy, relevant certifications, and strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy care to patients of various demographics.
• Adhere to hospital policies and maintain up-to-date knowledge in the field.
• Demonstrate competency in patient care and attend training as required.
• Comply with safety standards and perform other duties as required.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• An Associate Degree in Respiratory Therapy (required).
• 1-2 years of experience in Respiratory Therapy (required).
• Relevant certifications, such as Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Basic Life Support (BLS).
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
