The Phoebe Putney Health System is seeking a skilled and dedicated Respiratory Therapy Specialist to join our team. As a Night Shift Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in our NICU department.

Responsibilities
* Adhere to hospital attendance and punctuality guidelines
* Perform all job responsibilities in alignment with the organization's core values, mission, and vision
* Maintain current knowledge in present areas of responsibility through self-education and ongoing educational programs
* Attend staff meetings and complete mandatory in-services, requirements, and competency evaluations on time
* Demonstrate competency in providing care to all patients based on age, sex, weight, and demonstrated needs
* Wear protective clothing and equipment as appropriate
Requirements
* Associate Degree in Respiratory Therapy (Required)
* 1-2 years of experience in Respiratory Therapy (Required)
* Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Basic Life Support (BLS), Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT), and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certifications
* Strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for delivering exceptional patient outcomes
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with moderate noise levels and exposure to hazardous substances or body fluids
Working Conditions
* Works in a well-lighted, air-conditioned area with moderate noise levels
* May be exposed to high noise levels and bright lights
* May be required to change from one task to another of different nature without loss of efficiency or composure
* Periods of high stress and fluctuating workloads may occur
* May be scheduled as needed including overtime
Physical Requirements
* Near normal vision - Clarity of vision (both near and far), ability to distinguish colors
* Good manual dexterity and eye-hand-foot coordination
* Ability to perform repetitive tasks/motion
