Key Responsibilities
- Perform all job responsibilities in alignment with the core values, mission and vision of the organization.
- Maintain current knowledge in present areas of responsibility through self-education and ongoing educational programs.
- Demonstrate competency in providing care to all patients based on age, sex, weight, and demonstrated needs.
- Attend staff meetings and complete mandatory in-services, requirements and competency evaluations on time.
Working Conditions
The general environment is well-lighted and air-conditioned with moderate noise levels. However, there may be exposure to high noise levels and bright lights.
Qualifications
- Education: Associate Degree in Respiratory Therapy (required).
- Experience: 1-2 years of Respiratory Therapy experience (required).
- Certifications/Licensures: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Basic Life Support (BLS), Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) NICU RRT only.
Physical Requirements
- Near normal vision with clarity of vision (both near and far) and ability to distinguish colors.
- Good manual dexterity and eye-hand-foot coordination.
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks/motion.

- Walking: Frequently within shift (34-66%).
- Sitting: Occasionally within shift (1-33%).
- Climbing: Occasionally within shift (1-33%).
