Key Responsibilities
- Adhere to hospital policies and maintain professional qualifications
- Perform a range of duties, including patient assessment and equipment management
- Respond to emergencies and ensure high standards of care are met
- Maintain current knowledge in present areas of responsibility through self-education and ongoing educational programs
Working Conditions
- Work in a well-lighted, air-conditioned area with moderate noise levels
- May be exposed to high noise levels and bright lights
- May be exposed to limited hazardous substances or body fluids, or infectious organisms
Qualifications
- Educational Requirements: 2-year/Associate Degree in Respiratory Therapy
- Experience Requirements: 1-2 years of Respiratory Therapy experience
- Certifications and Licenses: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Basic Life Support (BLS), Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
