Phoebe Putney Health System is seeking an experienced leader to oversee the daily operations of the Sterile Processing Department. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, organizing, staffing, and monitoring work quality in the department.
The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in nursing or a relevant healthcare field, as well as minimum 3 years of management experience within sterile processing, preferably in a hospital setting. Certification as CRCST or above through IAHCSMM or certification as CSPDT or above through CBSPD is also required.
The selected individual will provide leadership and direction to team members, effectively utilize technology to improve operations, and ensure instrumentation, supplies, and resources are available in a timely manner. Key responsibilities include developing and implementing organization-wide instrument sterilization policies, procedures, and processes.
