- JOB SUMMARY
- The VP, Revenue Cycle, provides centralized management for all Revenue Cycle functions for Phoebe Health hospitals and hospital-based services, including operations at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital, Phoebe Sumter, and Phoebe Worth. The leader will direct, manage and implement programs to ensure efficient operations of the organization's Revenue Cycle program to generate sufficient cash flow to support operations and strategic initiatives. Additionally, the VP is responsible for identifying, analyzing, reducing, and resolving Revenue Cycle issues. The VP will be responsible for developing and maintaining effective relationships with the administrative, clinical, and physician leadership across the organization. The leader will also promote working relationships with key external organizations; this would include other providers, payers, government entities, and applicable professional associations. All areas of the Revenue Cycle will report to VP Revenue Cycle for Phoebe Health, including Patient Contact Center, Patient Access, Health Information Management, Revenue Management, and Patient Financial Services, with a dotted line support of Phoebe Physician Group accounts receivables. All activities must be in compliance with Equal Employment Opportunity laws, HIPAA, ERISA, and other regulations, as appropriate.

Qualifications
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's Degree in related field (Accounting, Finance, Math, Business Management, Health Services Administration, or Information Technology) required.
- Master's Degree in a related field (Preferred)
- 10 years of progressive management experience required in healthcare receivables, demonstrating ever-increasing and progressive responsibilities.
- Must possess extensive knowledge of hospital and professional fee Revenue Cycle and regulatory requirements related to the Revenue Cycle.
- Must have significant experience with payers, providers, hospitals and physicians and understand the commensurate requirements for facilitating accounts receivable resolution, cash flow, billing, revenue enhancement and patient service issues.
- Must possess strong presentation skills with the ability to effectively communicate to many different audience levels.
- Experience negotiating, leading and communicating complex strategic business issues
- Experience interfacing with the C-level leaders
- Experience leading a diverse team of 250 team members
- Demonstrated understanding of hospital revenue cycle operations
- Demonstrated ability to drive organizational change and lead process improvement & automation initiatives
- Strategic thinker with executive leadership and influencing skills
