What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lead Facility Support Staff position at Phoenix Behavioral Health?
Phoenix Behavioral Health, LLC is recognized as a leader in the field of behavioral health and substance use disorders. We are seeking a lead facilities support staff to provide daily oversight and support for transportation, meals, and route management.
Responsibilities
- Prep’s fully prepared daily breakfast and lunch for clients in partial care
- Prepares daily snacks and beverages
- Works with the site and executive leadership to ensure all food orders are properly placed and filled.
- Cover front desk duty or other responsibilities as assigned
- Coordinate transportation, daily transport routes, assign and print daily run sheets, and ensure clients are assigned to proper van routes for arrival/departure daily.
- Adjust daily routes as a result of call outs or schedule changes
- Ensures safe preparation of food and meeting dietary restrictions of clients
- Provides select daily transport to clients for intakes and daily program services using Phoenix vehicles.
- Responsible for reporting on agency vehicles by monitoring routine services (i.e. tune- ups, tire rotation, car washing etc.)
- Assists in supervision of client activities, hall monitoring, and redirection of clients as needed.
- Maintains vehicle maintenance, insurance, registration and upkeep per policy
- Monitors client breaks during off group/clinical times as needed
- Maintains order and ensures compliance with vehicle safety rules and regulations; ensures that clients conduct themselves in an orderly manner when on agency property or in agency vehicles.
- Monitors clients for signs of medical distress and/or behavioral concerns during transportation or throughout the day in program.
- Escorts clients within building campus or other agencies when necessary
- Performs light housekeeping as needed for common areas and transportation workstation
- Ensures kitchen is clean (disinfecting and tidying up the workstation daily).
- Follows procedures in response to all emergencies and demonstrates calm and controlled behaviors during a crisis situation, properly documents the findings with incident reports and results of the response
- Be alert for activities which could result in possible crises and assist in situations in a professional and efficient manner
- Provides a courteous, respectful, and pleasant interaction with each client and employee Maintains and displays good public relations skills when interacting with clients, visitors, and staff

Requirements
- High school diploma or GED is
- One (1) year working in a behavioral health setting, or a similar environment is At least one (1) year of working in a driving position is preferred.
- Experience in fleet management/transportation coordination preferred
- Professional appearance, dress, and communication expected
- A valid driver’s license and car insurance is An MVR check will be completed.
- Sobriety: If recovering, must have at least two (2) years of sobriety and must maintain sobriety throughout employment.
- Knowledge of the importance of operating a vehicle safely
- Must be able to understand the nature of client behavior
- Must be able to assist in any department when needed; being able to work in a team setting is required.
- Must be able to be flexible with schedule to meet all needs of the organization
- Ability to establish and maintain working relations with staff and other agencies
Schedule:
- Full Time Monday – Friday during daytime business hours

Salary : $33,000 - $35,000
