Role & Responsibilities
As a role of Sales Director is to oversee the entire sales process, from pursuit to closure, by leveraging extensive knowledge in sales processes and offerings. Develop relationships with key buyers and decision- makers at new and/or existing clients; protect and grow the business. Act as point of contact for resolution and escalation of all key items with the client and internally.
- Working within a defined European territory, especially Denmark, Sweden, Finland, France, & Switzerland. You will hunt for new clients and increase SAP’s footprint by building new relationships & business opportunities with new customers through traditional and digital means.
- Reaching prospects with a range of SAP products and Phoenix services to help improve their processes and gain productivity and time, reduce costs and increase revenue.
- A highly skilled individual who can effectively leverage the SAP eco-system to drive customer engagement and influence key stakeholders, including LOB (Line of Business) leaders and C-level executives. Target the right clients, grow a quality pipeline, and win profitable deals.
- Working closely with the Phoenix Joint-Collaborative Partners, demonstrating a high level of engagement and the ability to work on various campaigns. The primary responsibility will be to ensure the successful execution of campaigns and deliver the desired outcomes.
- As a Sales Director, your primary responsibility will be to foster a strong and reliable partnership with SAP team especially with partner business managers & marketing team. Your role will involve strategically expanding our collaborative efforts throughout the region, ensuring mutual growth and success. As a creative collaborator, your role will be to showcase your innovative thinking and foster strong partnerships.
- Has latitude in decision-making and determining objectives and approaches to critical assignments. Decisions have a lasting impact on area of responsibility with the potential to impact outside area of responsibility.
- Manage the opportunity from sales pursuit to close using deep sales process and offering expertise.
In order to be successful at this role, you must have experience in most of the following:
- Minimum of 18 years’ experience in solution selling/ outsourcing deals.
- Must speak Danish & Swedish (Mandatory). Bilingual proficiency in French and German is preferred but not required.
- Demonstrated track record of success in one or more of the following areas: Sales, Partner-Led joint sales, and Partner-field relationship building. Strong SAP ecosystem selling experience is preferred.
- Industry knowledge: Manufacturing, Healthcare, Professional Services, Consumer Products, Education, Retail, Wholesale, and Watch Manufacturing.
- Experience in SAP ERP, Digital Supply Chain, Human Resources, Customer Experience, Data Management, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning.
- Have a direct relationship with the decision makers of different industry groups.
- Have positioned winning strategy development and value proposition development.
- Proven ability to build, manage and foster a team-oriented environment.
- Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment.
- Desire to work in an information systems environment.
- Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent leadership.
