Job Title: Business Analyst
Location: Jackson, MS (100% Onsite)
Duration: 3 Years Contract

We are currently seeking one individual to work with the PMO team to act as the primary Business Analyst (BA) in support of the business area SME teams on the Project with the Design Development Integration vendor.
Key Responsibilities:
This individual will be responsible for Business Analyst duties related to defining requirements, managing work backlogs, setting work priorities, overseeing IT development stages related to planning, designing, testing, approval, and implementation of platform modules. The candidate will have a minimum of 7 years experience in development, requirements gathering, process mapping, data analysis, product owner management, software development lifecycles, and knowledgeable of project management processes. Advanced experience with requirements management, Agile development methodologies (SCRUM, KABAN, etc ), development, and writing user stories for testing and system validation is also desired. Candidate must be a motivated team player with excellent problem solving and communication skills.
Required Experience:
The candidate must have a minimum of seven (7) years experience in IT development and CI/CD processes.
The candidate must have a minimum of three (3) years experience as a Business Analyst and Tester.
The Candidate must possess advanced knowledge of Software Development Life Cycles (SDLC) and project management.
The candidate must have experience with DevOps, Amazon Web Services (AWS), and JIRA.
Preferred/Not Required:
Tracking system defects with project tools such as JIRA and JAMA.
Experience working within an Agile Team Environment and leading SCRUM meetings.
Experience effectively communicating with departmental program managers and executives.
