What are the responsibilities and job description for the Occupational Therapist (OT) *Part Time position at Phoenix Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing?
The Phoenix Center is seeking part-time Occupational Therapist (OT). The purpose of this position is to provide diagnostic and therapeutic services to evaluate, treat, document, and / or facilitate care for residents with impaired activities of daily living due to disease process; participate in the interdisciplinary team meetings as required; assist the Director of Nursing Service to develop ADL decline prevention policies and procedures.
QUALIFICATIONS OF THE OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST (OT) :
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to effectively communicate with residents, their families and other healthcare professionals. Ability to present information to supervisor.
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw conclusions.
- Must have at least two years of related expereince
- Must have a current Occupational Therapist license
