Your Role
As a primary care pediatrician at Phoenix Children's Hospital, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care services to children and their families. Your responsibilities will include providing direct patient care services, subspecialty consultations, and follow-up care. You will also assist the chief with the administration and coordination of all divisional activities, including supervising divisional staff, managing professional and fiscal aspects, and developing policies and procedures to ensure divisional compliance with external regulatory agencies.
You will support the medical education programs and activities of the Division, including teaching rounds, lectures, and conferences for medical students, residents, and fellows. You will participate in postgraduate continuing education activities, teach allied healthcare professionals, and contribute to scholarly activity through contributions to the medical literature. You may also participate in the development and implementation of clinical research protocols consistent with applicable institutional standards and guidelines.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in pediatrics, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. You must also have a valid medical license and board certification in pediatrics. In addition, you should have experience working in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities, and making sound decisions under pressure.
