Pay: $18.00 - 18.50/hr

As our Parts Inventory Operations Clerk 2, you will:
- Creates and maintains new work orders, new inventory records and purchasing requisitions
- Obtains approvals for requisitions
- Monitors and reports on status of ordered items
- Receives, inspects and verifies items to a purchase order
- Stocks or distributes items as they are received
- Scans documents to files
- Creates return requests and tracks movements of shipments
- Maintains physical and electronic inventory
- Collects data from equipment and creates weekly reports
- Collects and maintains certifications associated with building and production inspections
- Participates in plant safety, health and environmental programs. Updates EHS records when necessary
- Edits and receives purchase orders
- Tracks time worked of direct reports
- Generates purchase orders distributed for approval
- Releases purchase orders to vendors, maintains relationships with vendors and tracks orders
- Starts process of approving new vendors and collecting vendor information for accounting
- Creates and maintains SOP’s for training purposes and to have duties performed consistently
- Handles all purchasing for maintenance and supplies
- Works with AP for the end of month balancing and provides updates of purchase orders
- Adheres to and promotes all safety policies and procedures including but not limited to, following all guidelines for machine guarding, the proper handling of hazardous waste, following lock out-tag out procedures and complying with the use of personal protective equipment, such as, hearing protection, gloves and steel toe shoes
- All other duties as assigned
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to climb ladders and stairs with load up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to work at elevations up to 15 feet
- Must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
Qualifications:
- Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minim of 1 year employment history
- Ability to complete tasks efficiently with a high level of accuracy and thoroughness
- High attention to detail
- Ability to cooperate with others
- Computer literacy with some skills utilizing MS Word, Excel, e-mail and file management
- Problem solving and multi-tasking skills, along with ability to work alone and to count accurately
- Ability to communicate with others in an outside of the department
- Ability to train others using SOP’s
