Pay Range: $20.00 - $22.76
Schedule: Monday - Wednesday plus every other Thursday
Back Half Day Shift Hours: 7:00pm - 7:00am
Position Summary:
Support all phases of production by assisting the pressman and following all SOPs for operation and maintenance of the printing press while following all safety and quality control standards.
Position Responsibilities:
- · Assist in basic setup and operation of the press including loading paper, hanging plates, etc
- · Provide proper preparation and operation of the press to include application of ink, plates, blankets and inline solutions
- · Maintain supplies and chemicals needed to run press efficiently and to customers specifications
- · Perform assigned tasks to meet the production and quality standards for press operation
- · Read and interpret job ticket instructions
- · Perform basic maintenance and housekeeping functions
- · Adhere to and promote all safety policies and procedures
- · All other duties as assigned
Physical Requirements:
- · Ability to stand and walk for 12-hour shift and lift up to 60lbs
- · May be exposed to liquid chemicals or vapors
Position Skills:
- · Ability to read and understand written instructions
- · High levels of attention to detail
- · Ability to work as a team
- · Mechanically inclined
- · Must be able to read a standard ruler
Experience/Education:
- · High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- · Technical training with printing concentration preferred
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $22.76 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 36 per week
