About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Comm Space Lineman to join our team. This role focuses exclusively on the installation, maintenance, and repair of overhead and underground fiber optic cables in the Comm Space (not the power space). You’ll work independently and must possess a strong understanding of business operations to ensure job profitability.
Responsibilities:
- Safely install, repair, and maintain fiber optic cables in the Comm Space.
- Operate aerial lifts and other equipment in compliance with OSHA standards and 1910.268 regulations.
- Ensure adherence to federal, state, local, and company safety requirements.
- Maintain and operate commercial vehicles according to New York state regulations.
- Communicate professionally with customers to address concerns and ensure satisfaction.
- Manage variable schedules, including on-call rotations, nights, and weekends as needed.
