Heavy Machine Operator

Phoenix Concrete Plus is seeking a responsible and reliable Bobcat Operator that's able to operate machinery to excavate, move, and grade earth, erect structural and reinforcing steel, and place concrete or other hard surface paving materials; control air and water output of compressors and pumps; maintain equipment (regular greasing & cleaning). Assist work crews periodically as a laborer, carpenter, or concrete finisher. *VALID Driver’s License is REQUIRED prior to hiring*

QUALIFICATIONS:

· A Valid Florida Driver’s License is REQUIRED for this position

· Requires walking, sitting, lifting, pushing, pulling, and climbing to a significant degree.

· Heavy Work-Exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds or force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects.

· While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to effectively communicate with employees/visitors as well as function safely around heavy rolling equipment.

· *ENGLISH NOT REQUIRED BUT PREFERRED *

RESPONSIBILITIES:

· The Utility Operator must be able to operate multiple pieces of equipment depending on requirements.

· The Utility Operator interfaces with the rest of the operations work site daily.

· Perform work activities in a correct, accurate and timely fashion.

· Operate a loader, excavator, haul truck, grader, bulldozer, skid steer, and water truck.

· Load tractor trailers, and dump trucks.

· Keeping facility clean and organized.

· Building forms and stripping forms.

· Mixing and pouring concrete and castables.

· Performing or assisting with minor maintenance and repairs.

· Assist in performance of clean-up prior and after maintenance work.

· Communicates with and cooperates with truckers and customers.

· Fills-up fuel and cleans equipment.

$20-30 per hour depending on experience/ 20-30 hrs per week
