Job Summary
This exciting, high-profile position is responsible for conducting strategic needs analysis and managing the planning, execution, and delivery of supply chain projects and solutions within a state-of-art, highly automated facility. This key role will lead multi-disciplined project teams with the goal of optimizing the Supply Chain operation at both regional and global levels. Success will be characterized by, but not limited to, delivery of projects that are on time, within budget, and within scope. Establishing project objectives which are in alignment with overall corporate objectives and helping the organization to realize project benefits are key.
Responsibilities
- Preparing detailed project plans to schedule key project milestones, workstreams, and activities.
- Defining resource requirements and managing resource availability and allocation, both internal and third party.
- Outlining project budgets based on requirements and tracking costs to deliver projects on budget.
- Managing project schedule, tracking projects, and providing regular status reports to project teams and key stakeholders.
- Managing and adjusting baselines for any changes in project scope, schedule, and/or budget.
- Managing relationships and communications with stakeholders, ensuring projects are delivered to the satisfaction of these groups.
- Maintaining pertinent documentation (including but not limited to):
- Risk lists, mitigation, and contingency plans.
- Milestone checklists.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a focus on Supply Chain Management / Operations Management preferred.
- 4 ( ) years’ relevant professional-level work experience preferred.
- Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) preferred or the ability to achieve within first year.
- Ability to lead multi-disciplined project teams.
- Refined analytical skills with the demonstrated ability to solve problems and make recommendations.
- Possesses leadership qualities, including the ability to empower and motivate others
- Understanding of logistics business operations.
- Demonstrates a willingness to collaborate with others, build relationships, and involve others in decision making.
- Demonstrates the ability to deliver results by solving or supporting others in solving problems, prioritizing tasks and/or resources, and focusing on outcomes.
Must Be Able To...
- Withstand long periods of working on computer.
- Be fluent in English.
- Travel via automobile or airplane in US or globally when necessary.
