We have an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated professional to fill the position of Operations Manager - JBLM.
This position is contingent upon contract award.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for the establishment and implementation of standard operating procedures.
- Assisting the MTC staff in providing tours and briefings of facilities and demonstrated capability of various training systems and simulation capabilities
- Scheduling and unit coordination for all MTC training and non-training events by maintaining a Master Training Calendar to schedule and track the usage of all MTC facilities and space including, but not limited to, training and non-training events facility use, SVTC availability, TOC pad(s) use, as well as command/VIP briefings and tours.
- Incorporate/establish processes to receive training/non-training requests, track received requests by type and category, and post scheduled events onto the MTC.
- Ensure the posting and tracking of all training and non-training requests within 24 hours of receipt and provide feedback to the customer acknowledging receipt of request.
- Master Calendar, and ensure the calendar/calendars are current and up to date.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- BS or BA degree, subject immaterial.
- Minimum of ten (10) years of military and supervisory experience.
- 5 years of experience with military training and training support.
- Experience in operations and training requirements at the battalion, brigade, or higher level.
- Experience with training management.
- Working knowledge of the Army Mission Command Training Support Program (MCTSP).
- Possess a TOP SECRET clearance with the ability to obtain SCI.
- Completed a MEL-4 or equivalent level military schooling (US Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine, or foreign exchange CGSC for example).
- Served as a brigade, division, or corps commander or primary staff officer/CSM, or a senior (LTC/COL) FA-57.
