WHAT YOU WILL DO:
The Test Engineer III (TE3) as part of the Integration and Test team on the Joint Land Component Constructive Training Capability (JLCCTC) program is for experienced testers capable of independently managing complex testing tasks and mentoring junior engineers.
- Design comprehensive test plans, advanced scripts, and testing procedures.
- Provide detailed feedback to developers regarding usability and functionality.
- Monitor bug resolution efforts and track successes.
- Develop and implement quality assurance standards, methods, or procedures.
- Participate in design reviews and provide input on requirements.
- Conduct advanced debugging and troubleshooting for program or system malfunctions.
- Plan test schedules or strategies in alignment with project delivery dates.
ABOUT YOU:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT or a related technical discipline.
- 5 years of experience in software/system testing.
- Proficiency in software testing and scripting.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and mentoring junior engineers.
- Ability to obtain CompTIA Security Plus, Linux Plus and Computing Environment Certifications for Windows.
- Holds or able to obtain a minimum DoD Secret security clearance, Top Secret preferred.
- Due to the nature of work performed within this facility, U.S. citizenship is required.
- Domestic and International travel to Military Installations in support of JLCCTC Program activities is required.
