Medical Biller needed in a busy Acupuncture/Eastern Medicine Practice. Duties include talking to insurance companies and patients. Two years of medical billing experience is preferred. The position is daytime Monday to Friday hours.

Job Types: Part-time

• Minimum 2-3 years Billing Experience.
• Thorough Knowledge about Medical Billing/Insurance.
• Excellent phone and communication skills.
• Follow up skills.
• Detail oriented, possess excellent communication skills.
• Responsible for reports, denials, appeals, calling insurance carriers/reps/adjusters, utilizing various carrier websites, and working in our claims submission portal.
• Direct telephone contact with insurance companies on a daily basis to recover payments on current and past due accounts.
• Performs other job-related duties within the job scope as requested by Management.

Summary

As a Medical Biller, you will be essential in managing the billing process within a medical office, ensuring accurate and timely submissions of claims. Reporting to the billing manager, you will utilize your core skills in medical terminology, EHR systems, and medical coding to facilitate effective medical collections. Your premium skills in DRG, CPT, and ICD coding will be vital for compliance and maximizing reimbursements. Strong communication skills will enhance collaboration with healthcare providers and patients, contributing to the overall efficiency and success of our medical billing operations.

Pay: $19.00 - $27.00 per hour
