Job Summary :
The Land and Title Manager will oversee all personnel and functions of the Land Department, including basin management, acquisition and divestment due diligence, title curative, deal negotiations, and contract reviews. This role involves managing high-level projects, participating in upper management and executive meetings, and making complex decisions, directly reporting to the Vice-President of Land or Executive Staff. The Land Manager plays a crucial role in staff development, conducting performance reviews, and managing resource allocation across both geographic and procedural areas of responsibility.
Responsibilities :
- Oversee all personnel and functions of the Land Department
- Manage basin operations and ensure efficient basin management
- Conduct acquisition and divestment due diligence
- Handle title curative processes
- Negotiate deals and review contracts
- Manage high-level projects within the Land Department
- Participate in upper management and executive level meetings
- Make complex decisions impacting the department and company
- Develop and manage staff and conduct performance reviews
- Allocate resources effectively across geographic and procedural areas
