Job Purpose :
The Quality Manager will oversee and manage the quality assurance and control processes within the metal fabrication shops. This role involves developing, implementing, and maintaining quality systems to ensure that products meet the required standards and specifications. The Quality Manager will work closely with production and engineering teams to drive continuous improvement.
Description of Essential Duties :
- Quality Management Systems :
Develop, implement, and maintain the company's Quality Management System (QMS) in compliance with industry standards.
Oversee the inspection and testing processes to ensure product quality and conformity to specifications.
Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with QMS and industry standards.
Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality, reduce defects, and increase efficiency.
Establish and maintain quality standards for suppliers.
Develop and deliver training programs for employees on quality standards and practices.
Maintain accurate records of quality activities, including inspection reports, test results, and audit findings.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus.

The employee works in airborne particles, dust, non-weather heat, and toxic or caustic chemicals. The employee could be exposed to outdoor weather conditions.
