Primary Duties & Responsibilities
Working outside loading steel onto rollers of machine with a overhead crane
- Work under a Shop Supervisor and with shop team members using applied practices
- Practice safe, thorough, and positive work habits
- Use basic math skills to calculate dimensions and weights
- Load and unload steel plate, pipe, rods, and other steel parts using outside overhead bridge crane
- Load and unload conveyor rollers feeding material into a shot blasting machine
- Using overhead bridge cranes to move material around
- Use proper rigging techniques to safely move material
- Able to perform machine maintenance on shot blasting machine
