What are the responsibilities and job description for the Apprentice position at Phoenix Fire Protection?
Phoenix Fire Protection specializes in designing, fabricating, installing, and servicing life safety systems. Your role on our team would be on the construction site, working alongside your foreman to assist in the installation of fire suppression systems for commercial and residential properties.

Job Requirements:
- Eager to learn!
- Accurately read and use a tape measure
- Climb ladders
- Lift at least 50 lbs
- Standing/walking for long periods of time
This position focuses on learning and implementing the following techniques:
- Working safely
- Organizing the workspace effectively and efficiently
- Threading pipe with a Rigid 300 Pipe Machine
- Keeping an inventory of parts
- Providing a list of parts needed throughout the job
- Planning ahead
As you learn, you will be provided with an opportunity to advance in the company by becoming apart of the apprenticeship program. While apart of this program, you will learn the skills to become a journeyman sprinkler pipefitter. We are proud members of the AFSA (American Fire Sprinkler Association).
