Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CAD Designer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in computer-aided design and be proficient in creating detailed schematics and mechanical designs. This role requires creativity, technical expertise, and the ability to collaborate effectively with engineers and project managers to bring innovative designs to life.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed 2D and 3D CAD models using software such as AutoCAD and SprinkCAD.
• Create and modify schematics for various projects, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to support mechanical design efforts and project specifications.
• Conduct design reviews and incorporate feedback from team members to enhance project outcomes.
• Prepare documentation for designs, including technical specifications, drawings, and reports.
• Utilize NavisWorks for project coordination and clash detection in complex designs.
• Assist in the development of 2D animations to visualize design concepts effectively.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in CAD software including AutoCAD, SprinkCAD and NavisWorks.
• Experience in creating schematics and mechanical designs is essential.
• Strong understanding of engineering principles and design processes.
• Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
• Strong communication skills to effectively convey design ideas and concepts.
• Previous experience in the construction or engineering industry is a plus but not required.
