Laboratory Technician
Reports to : Laboratory Manager

Job purpose
This role involves compounding fragrance oils and preparing applications for internal use or client submissions.
Duties and responsibilities
- Mix raw material ingredients to form fragrance compounds.
- Create samples in applications such as candles, lotions, or other required bases.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Maintain appropriate raw material levels in your work area.
- Begin and finish all laboratory compounds in computer programs, as necessary.
- Maintain retains of all samples produced.
- Purge samples at the end of the year.
- Notify management of potential fallout / color issues pertaining to a formula.
- Assist in other areas of the lab, as necessary.
